Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
You can make your own pizza crust, buy pizza dough, or just do what we do and buy the Wegmans version of the Boboli pizza crust.
Scramble up 4 eggs and then spoon and spread over the pizza crust.
You can make the bacon from scratch, or if you're looking for a 10 minute breakfast, buy fully cooked bacon. You microwave 5 pieces at a time for 25 seconds and it's done! Cook the bacon, and crumble it on top of the pizza and eggs.
Sprinkle the whole pie with cheddar and/or mozzarella cheese.
Stick the pizza in the oven (even if it isn't 400 degrees yet). Set the timer for 10 minutes. When the 10 minutes are up- Serve and Enjoy!
You can also try:
Sausage, egg and cheese pizza.
Sausage gravy pizza.
Ham, egg, onion and pepper pizza.
Veggie pizza (mushroom, green pepper, red pepper, onion, etc with eggs and cheese)
Try a little cream cheese on the crust before putting your toppings on. Yum! I make this but I use crescent rolls as a crust.
ReplyDeleteYou're a dream Lynn! It's even better now!!!!
DeleteI am making this for Thanksgiving breakfast! Quick, easy and even my pickiest eaters will love it!
DeleteYES TO CREAM CHEESE....LOL YUMMMMMMY
Deletewere the crescents done in 10 min?
Deleteyummmm... Thanks for sharing this!
ReplyDeleteI am gong to try this with tomatoes, onions and olives. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteooh! That sounds good, I'll try it too!
Deleteyou can also spread the sausage gravy on the crust then a little cheese then the eggs, then the bacon and then a little more cheese...comes out really good!
ReplyDeleteI've done sausage gravy before! I love sausage gravy! It rare for us o have leftover sausage gravy though:)
DeleteDo you cook the crust before you place the toppings on top or just place the toppings on the uncooked crust?
ReplyDeleteNo need to pre-cook, just pile it with toppings and bake after. Enjoy!
DeleteI did this and my toppings almost burnt so i had to take it out but the dough (crissont) was still raw everywhere except underneath and around the edge :(
DeleteHow do you use the crescent rolls as the crust?
ReplyDeleteJust jumping in here Tina, cuz CR is what I use. In fact you can buy 'sheet' roll dough, then you don't have to deal with the seams. In a jelly roll pan (the one with small sides) spread the dough, pile on, bake as instructed. I normally add a couple of minutes, because MY "pile of stuff" is...bigger than normal pizza. I have 3 bottomless pits sleeping down the hall, they LOVE this for saturday breakfast, I often have to make 2. Think omelet, on a crust. I often include, onions, mushrooms, even red pepper. Mix up the spices, and the cheese, and make it Mexican, Italian, what ever your tongue has a taste for. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for this great idea! I needed a quick breakfast idea for this week. I'm going to have fun improvising.
ReplyDeleteYou're very welcome Jax!
DeleteI made this today for my son's birthday breakfast--delicious! I used a Boboli crust, sausage gravy, eggs, cheese, and sausage crumbles. So good! I'm adding this to our regular rotation.
ReplyDeleteRock on Steph!
DeleteI took the suggestion of using a sausage gravy sauce from the commenters above and used sausage for the topping too. It was delicious. This is the perfect easy solution to breakfast blahs. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHappily! I'm glad you liked it!
DeleteThis sounds great..
ReplyDeleteHope you tried it Carlyn! It's pretty awesome!
DeleteIf your really in a hurry, you could use English muffins for crusts. Just cut them in half, spread a little butter or whatever & place on cookie sheet, add toppings and bake =)
ReplyDeleteO.M.G. How have I never thought of this?!?!?! This is being done immediately. Thanks!
DeleteSounds like a good recipe for Breakfast for supper!
ReplyDeleteIt is! Add a fruit salad and you're good to go!
DeleteThanks so much for this! My husband and I were born & raised in Tochester and the Army moved us away from our beloved breakfast pizza! I'm excited to duplicate it for him! (If only we could figure out how to duplicate a garbage plate properly!)
ReplyDeleteWell, now I'm going to have to go google garbage plate!

DeleteHaving this for dinner today! Thanks for the recipe!
ReplyDeleteAm I alone in this thought, or does anyone else put Frank's Redhot on their eggs? Layering the cream cheese and then the Frank's, then the toppings would make this heavenly
ReplyDeleteHot sauce is pretty much the greatest thing ever invented. Buckets of it should go on everything we eat.
DeleteThrow some of the loose shredded hash browns into the fry pan and cook for a couple minutes before scrambling the eggs. Then start your layering process.
ReplyDeleteNo idea why, but I always get weirded out when I put potatoes in my breakfast dish (like burritos or breakfast pizza), I'm thinking I have some weird childhood trauma or something.
DeleteWOW! I read a lot of blogs, especially food related. Can't say I can recall any other with as many interactive comments as this one.
ReplyDeleteExcellent work. I look forward to cjecking out more of your pieces!

I know this is a old post but I just read it. Can u use pie crust?
ReplyDeleteHey Tracey! I would try it! I haven't tried it with pie crust but I can't imagine crust/cheese/sausage can taste bad in any format. Let us know how it works!
DeleteThis would also be good on pita breads with any of the toppings. Did sausage pizza with pita bread out of desperation one night and my husband loved it.
ReplyDeleteThis was a great breakfast for dinner option. My girls absolutely loved it.
